It all begun yesterday hen a good friend of mine text me and said “Mini road trip to Caseville on me!” I immediately got nervous and excited all at the same time. People that know me know that I am a safe, routine person before I met Deon. I’m not completely out of my shell yet but I’m slowly but surely getting there.

My friend told me that it was 3 hours away and I hope it’s worth it. Ohhhhh but when we got there….it was amazing!!!! We were right by one of our states biggest Lakes. We took our shoes off and walked through the sand and let the water brush up on the bay to soak our toes. We sat in the sand and just gazed upon God’s creation. If I could make a 3 hour trip every weekend, I would.

On the way to and from our destination, I have realized that I have been sheltered for too long. It’s so many landmarks I want to get to while I’m young! I thank God for the best friend in my boyfriend for he’s the one that helped me to see life in a new light. He wants to go somewhere next with just us two and I can’t wait!

Sometimes you need a boost to get where you need to get to in life. I thank God for my friend Kelley and our time yesterday. That was just what I needed to get a head start on this new journey I’m getting ready to embark on!

It’s time to start living life with no regrets…and it all started yesterday.

I will be attending my friends’ dress fitting for her wedding at David’s Bridal.

Then, going to Dave & Busters with my boyfriend, best friend, her husband and brother.

This shall be exciting!!!

A good friend of mines is getting married in September and she asked me to be a hostess. I’m super excited but confused. We are wearing cute, short party dresses. I thought hostesses wear black and white? I don’t know.

One of classmates just got engaged too and every class she gives me an update of her wedding plans. I love it! I will love it even more when it’s my time and when I get to start planning my dream wedding. I feel it’s near but I don’t want to rush. I’m going to let God do His thing!

I want to do something sweet for all of my single friends on Valentines Day. I want God to guide me on this idea because I want it to be something nice but also something that will change their outlook on relationships.

Use me, Lord.

For the past week people (friends, family and people I don’t know) have been giving me compliments like never before! They tell me that I have changed (in a good way), my physical presence has a different and contagious feeling and that I’m smiling a lot more than normal. They have come to me for godly advice, and questions that I didn’t think people would ask me.

I pray that they see GOD and not me. He is the only reason that I am aglow, I am simply here on earth to shine for Him. The conference this past weekend was simply amazing. A complete transformation has been made and I’m forever thankful to God for that. I have decided to not go back to those things of the world because I know it will displease my Heavenly Father.

God has made a complete 180 degree change in my life! He deserves all of the glory!

Just when I start to lose my faith, He strikes it within me yet again. It’s so good to share Christ with others. I started talking about Him with a a friend and everyone around me started talking about Him. 

God is so Good. Lord, I will continue to trust in you no matter what is going on around me. I know things aren’t the way that I would like them right now but it’s not about me. It’s about you. I am trusting in your timing, knowing that you already have everything worked out for my good. 

Within the next 2 months, my boyfriend and I have THREE weddings to go to. The first two are in January and the 3rd is in February and they are all unions of at least one of our family/church members.

I love weddings!! When I attend weddings, I take mental notes because one day it will be me standing at the altar! :)

Let me just say that Senior year is becoming straight NUTS! So many assignments, debates, papers, homework, I’m straight tired! I’m trying not to stress so much because I get sick that way and I already had the flu once this semester. 

I miss Tumblr, man. I miss my followers, the people I’m following, everyone!

I must say that I am doing very well though. My life is awesome! I am currently am spending my weekend with family and I actually need to get up so I can start getting ready for church. My boyfriend and I are doing splendorous!  (As you can tell by the pictures I post from instagram), I have a new internship, my friends are great and my relationship with God is the best thing <3

God is so good, he deserves every thank you from my lips, plus more! Anyway, got to go now. Just wanted to update you all :)

I’m also planning a surprise 21st birthday party for two of my married friends. I will definitely be back on here to get you guy’s opinion. Shhhhhh! Don’t tell them :)

Friday: I’m getting my hair straightened after 3 weeks (finally!). Yes, I gave in. 

Saturday: I’m helping an old church member with a wedding tomorrow. She wants me to help her set-up and facilitate the event. She contacted me because she was looking for an events intern for her and her mother’s event planning business. I’m so excited because I want to start and own my own event planning company one day. Ahhhh!

Sunday: Church is Sunday and directly following service is our church picnic! I’m not officially a member yet but I am seriously considering it. It’s going to be a ton of fun because I will centered around my church family, friends and boyfriend :)

I can’t wait! Definitely going to be living in the moment because I know it’s going to fly by!!

One of the Interns that I have bonded with this summer came to see me! She just wanted to check up on me after the accident. Isn’t she sweet?Ii definitely wasn’t expecting her to stop by my house, but she did. 

We bonded so fast but now the internship is coming to an end and she’s heading back home to D.C. I’m going to miss her! She’s definitely the most coolest Mexican I’ve ever met :)

Ahhh man, I love my Fav (my good friend Kelley)! I told her I wanted to see her again even though we just hung out last weekend. The original plan was to go bowling but her coupon expired. After different ideas, we decided to do something that wasn’t on our list. We took a random trip to Canada!!!! That was freakin’ amazing!!! She definitely had some convincing to do because I’m not huge on spontaneity but I must admit that was a great plan!

Of course we had to get shawarma’s. Those things are like heaven! I haven’t had one in a few months so eating that definitely gave my taste buds life again :)

Ahhhh man. Last night was amazing. I haven’t had that much fun in a long time!! I’m not gonna’ say much but just know it was the bomb! They really had everything put together very nicely :)

It should be illegal how much fun we had! I mean, 9pm - 4am NON-STOP, really??

Today is the graduation of many of my friends at our University! It’s going to be weird without them around next year but I know they are going off to do GREAT things!!

Reading this book gives me hope. Although I can extremely relate to all of this, I’m not going to continue to declare this over myself, I’m going to do something about it.

My mother turned 49 today and I still can’t believe it. One more year from the big 50! My family and I went over my best friends’ family’s house for a birthday barbecue that they threw for her. It was really nice to gather again once more before everyone started back school. We all range from the ages 19-24 but we all get along, we all talked like no time passed all there was uncontrollable laughing which was something that I haven’t done in a while. We all enjoyed amazing barbecued food that the Dad’s prepared outside while we were all in the house chatting. They also surprised her with a beautiful cake decorated with her favorite color which was really nice! It was delicious too!
